Job Description
Job Title: Clinical Advisor
Reports to: Clinical Manager
Job Role: To provide specialist advice and support in the management of Oedema and Lymphoedema to health care professionals and to ensure SIGVARIS staff are informed and up-to-date with credible clinical knowledge and experience in the field of Oedema and Lymphoedema. Supporting the sales growth of SIGVARIS Britain by offering clinical support where the business can grow is essential
Key Responsibilities
- To provide training and clinical support to SIGVARIS personnel and health care professionals to ensure correct usage of products and support materials
- To work with the Marketing Manager and Clinical Manager to identify and prioritise accounts requiring training and in- service education, in specific cases and on an ongoing basis.
- To arrange clinical study days and provide presentations to present products and services to health care professionals, paying attention to accounts identified as requiring support to maximise sales.
- To develop and manage evaluations and trials of compression garments to ensure that new and existing products are clinically suitable to be used in the relevant therapeutic areas
- Establish and maintain appropriate collaborations and relationships with external experts, and the general medical community on a national and possibly international basis
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with professional societies and charities
You must have
- Ideally worked as a Vascular Nurse specialist or Lymphoedema specialist for a minimum of 5 years
- Experience in relevant therapeutic area(s) with up to date knowledge associated with Lymphoedema and Vascular disease
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confident demonstrator and presenter
- Competent MS Office skills
