£38,000 - £40,000 per annum plus benefits

What you’ll do

Leading the care team during your shifts, you will make certain that we fully meet residents’ medical, physical and emotional requirements. Ensuring compliance with our clinical governance framework, you will mentor and motivate colleagues, champion residents’ safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement, whilst acting as Named Nurse for your own portfolio of service users.

Abney Court in Cheadle, Cheshire, is set in beautiful grounds and delivers a range of quality care in modern and luxurious surroundings.

Our care home, rated ‘Good’ by the CQC,  provides round-the-clock residential, specialist dementia and nursing care as well as short-term respite and convalescent care. 

Abney Court is built in the stunning historic grounds of Abney Hall, where the likes of Prince Albert and Agatha Christie once stayed. However, the home is designed to provide the latest in 21st century living, with its own cinema, café and hair salon. 

Our experienced and compassionate team is dedicated to helping you to get the most out of each day. When you join us, we will work with you and your family to learn everything we can about your life history, needs, likes and dislikes. Then we’ll design care and activity plans – even menus – that are tailored to your unique needs and preferences.

With 120 homes and day clubs across the UK, we provide expert respite, residential, nursing, dementia and end-of-life care for older people. The 80-bed home, built and managed by Care UK, provides round-the-clock residential care and short-term respite care, as well as specialist care for people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

The care home is built in the beautiful grounds of Abney Hall, where historical figures such as Prince Albert and Agatha Christie once stayed and is easy to get to via major road links including the M60 and the A560.
