Registered Nurse for Laser Eye Surgery Clinic

We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse to join our dynamic nursing team here at London Vision Clinic. We are looking for team players who enjoy working in a modern, hi-tech and very friendly environment.

THE OPPORTUNTIY:

To work at one of the most prestigious clinics in the UK in the field of laser eye surgery, located on Harley Street. The clinic enjoys a worldwide reputation for excellence in clinical care and research. You will be working with an experienced and expert team of surgeons, optometrists and other nursing professionals. Ground-up training is provided in our standard operating procedures, unique techniques and eye care.

THE ROLE:

The role involves 3 main areas: Working directly with our surgeons in the operating theatre, preparing and counselling patients on pre-op and post-op routines for surgery and conducting hi-tech diagnostic testing.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

You have an outgoing, friendly manner and enjoy providing warm, professional care to patients. You are an enthusiastic team player with a hard work ethic.You enjoy working in a fast paced environment where excellence in patient care is the paramount goal.

Previous ophthalmic nursing experience is desirable but not essential.

You are keen to utilise experience and skills both in the operating theatre as well as the clinic.

THE HOURS:

The typical shift schedule can vary from time to time, but generally comprises a 07:00-15:30, 9:00-17.30 or 10:00 -19:00 duty, Monday through Friday. You may be required to work occasional Saturdays. 

PACKAGE:

A basic salary of £35,000 with the potential for monthly bonuses and annual salary reviews. 

28 days holiday plus bank holidays.
