Job Description

Assessments and Interviews taking place on Monday 28th January 2019.

If you're a newly-qualified nurse, we can offer you the unique chance to explore where your skills would be best suited here.

During our preceptorship graduate scheme, you'll rotate across our facilities and specialisms to get a real overview of HCA UK - all while refining your skills, developing your confidence and building your career.

The scheme will start once you get your PIN and last for 18 Months. We have a number of spaces available on the scheme and will be holding assessment centres over the coming months.

This is a full time role of 37.5 hours, offering a starting salary of £27,000 with additional shift enhancements.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan and deliver care to meet patient and family needs
  • Demonstrate good clinical practice at all times and to be accountable for own actions
  • Work well within a team, directing junior staff and deputising for Senior Staff Nurses in their absence, always ensuring that patient care is at a consistently high level
  • Contribute to research based care and other practice development initiatives
  • Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff

Skills & Experience

  • Registered General Nurse with valid or pending NMC pin.
  • Motivated and forward thinking individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Good time management, prioritisation and supervisory skills with a passion for providing exceptional patient experience.
