Job Summary

We have a new opportunity for an experienced Manager to join our team based at the St Mary’s NHS Treatment Centre in Portsmouth. Our clean, modern and comfortable hospital specialises in Day Surgery for minor hand and foot surgery, eye surgery, general surgery, urology, colorectal surgery and endoscopy. We also offer community assessment services in audiology, dermatology and ear, nose and throat (ENT). About the role Reporting to the Hospital Director, you will hold a key leadership and management role at a senior level and will be expected to provide specialist skills and knowledge to support the organisation and delivery of care to patients. You will provide clear and consistent leadership to all clinical staff ensuring that you maintain a visible presence across the centre. Working with the Operational Manager, you will also take responsibility for ensuring that budgetary and performance objectives are achieved. A little bit about you... We are looking for a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with extensive experience working at a senior level who has experience of leading multidisciplinary teams in the independent sector. You must be able to handle multi-faceted problems in a busy and fast moving environment, implement, manage and evaluate change as well as a commitment to teaching and development.
