Registered Nurse - Night Shifts (RGN or RMN)
Blackdown, Royal Leamington Spa
£16.00 per hour plus benefits

  • Are you experienced in supporting older people with complex care needs?
  • Are you an organised, methodical Nurse who is passionate about delivering positive change?
  • Then you can build a fast-moving nursing career with Care UK and help our residents get more out of life every day.

What you’ll do

Leading the care team during your shifts, you will make certain that we fully meet residents’ medical, physical and emotional requirements. Ensuring compliance with our clinical governance framework, you will mentor and motivate colleagues, champion residents’ safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement, whilst acting as Named Nurse for your own portfolio of service users.

Where you’ll work

The brand new, purpose-built care home is in Blackdown, just north of Leamington Spa and it provides a wide range of quality care services under one roof.

As well as delivering residential and nursing care services, the experienced team also provide short term respite care (minimum two-week stay) plus expert care for people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. The team also provides the very best in palliative care and end of life care. Offering such a wide range of care means that our compassionate and highly trained team is able to care for your loved one as their needs change.

Priors House offers the latest in luxurious, modern care home living, with the emphasis on helping residents to continue to enjoy a fun and comfortable lifestyle. Designed, built and run by Care UK, everything at Priors House is focused on enabling your loved one to make the most of every day – from the physical design of the home, to the 24-hour care delivered by the team, the food we serve, and the many activities we run.

Like the team in every Care UK home across the UK, the Priors House team pride themselves on getting to know residents extremely well, including their physical needs, their likes and dislikes, hobbies, life stories and interests. Only then will they design a care plan that’s entirely tailored to that resident’s unique needs. That way your loved one will receive care that’s as individual as they are.

Who you are

An NMC Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD), you will be well versed in care planning processes and fully familiar with clinical assessment tools.
You will be keen to develop your leadership skills and clinical knowledge, capable of building close relationships with residents and their families, and determined to drive continuous improvement.

With 120 homes and day clubs across the UK, we provide expert respite, residential, nursing, dementia and end-of-life care for older people. Our highly personal, patient-centred approach has seen us enjoy rapid growth, with three new homes planned for next year, so we can offer wide-ranging career opportunities to people who care as deeply as we do.
