Band 7 - £33,222 - £43,041 pa pro rata

We are currently seeking dedicated, caring, compassionate & highly motivated QUALIFIED and NEWLY QUALIFIED nurses to join our District Nursing Team.

The Community Nursing service aims to provide an excellent standard of person centred planned and unplanned nursing intervention to patients in their homes and is part of an integrated service that supports patients to remain in their home environment. As a County wide Community Nurse you will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team in order to support the service and have a high focus on delivering quality outcomes and improving the patient experience.

As both an organisation and a service we are actively involved in both local and national innovative projects around improving quality of care, integrated working. We promote mobile working technology to aid staff. We have an extensive program of training and skills development available for staff and actively nominate and encourage our staff to apply for national awards and recognition, such as Queen’s Nursing Institute, RCN and Nursing Times awards.

Applications will also be welcomed from nurses who are due to qualify in the near future.

NHFT has recently been rated as Outstanding following an inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC)

Attraction Incentive 
In addition to the benefits offered under the NHS terms and conditions of service, this post additionally attracts an incentive of £3000 pro rata for the successful applicant/s paid over the first 12 months of employment.  The salary range to be offered is between the following pay points:

Band 5: 1-4 years’ experience in the band - £23,023 - £24,915

Band 6: 1-4 years’ experience in the band - £28,050 - £30,070

Band 7: 1-4 years’ experience in the band - £33,222 - £36,111
