Nexus Health Group is a relatively new organisation but with a long history of providing good quality primary care in Southwark. We are a super GP partnership which was formed in August 2016 when four long standing local GP practices merged, serving a population of over 70,000 patients over 9 sites. 

We are in the process of evaluating the way in which we provide care to our patients. Our business plan includes developing a service that will fit the needs of our patients that are in line with the NHS 5 year forward view and the aspirations set out in “better health for London”.

We are looking for a Nurse Manager to work with us in developing our ambitious plans of providing primary health care to a large population. The successful candidate will lead a multi-skilled Nursing Team that includes Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants.

The post holder will need to show that they have the leadership skills to take forward and promote change within our Nursing workforce.

This is a full time post of 37.5 hours; we are offering a salary between £60,000 to £65,000 depending on qualifications and experience.

Education, Qualification and Experience

• NMC Registered Nurse
• Current NMC Qualification
• Minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in a community or primary care setting
• Evidence of appropriate continuing professional development and education to maintain up to date knowledge
• Independent prescriber
• Experience of working with a  multi-disciplinary team
• Experience of implementing protocols and clinical guidelines
• Experience of managing complex and changing conditions in patients.
• Experience of implementing change management
• Experience of managing and developing a Nursing team
• Experience of developing services
