37.5 Hrs | Medium Secure MH Hospital | Great Staff Benefits | NQ Nurses Considered + Great Preceptorship Programme

A vacancy has arisen for a Learning Disability Nurse to join a specialist medium-secure mental health hospital on the outskirts of York which caters to men and women with mental illnesses, ASDs and personality disorders.

The facility provides a range of treatments and rehabilitation services including CAT, DBT, CBT and substance misuse programmes in addition to supporting service users to regain independence and develop invaluable life skills.

Details of this Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse/RNLD role and what the successful candidate will receive:

  • A permanent position of 37.5 hours per week

What the hospital is looking for in a Learning Disabilities Nurse/RNLD:

  • NMC registered Learning Disability Nurse/RNLD
  • Ideally demonstrate some post-registration experience in a similar setting, although this is not essential and newly qualified LD Nurses will be considered
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
