A Registered Nurse vacancy has arisen in a specialist medium-secure mental health hospital on the outskirts of York which caters to men and women with mental illnesses, ASDs and personality disorders.
The facility provides a range of treatments and rehabilitation services including CAT, DBT, CBT and substance misuse programmes in addition to supporting service users to regain independence and develop invaluable life skills.
Details of this Registered General Nurse/RGN role and what the successful candidate will receive:
- A permanent position of 37.5 hours per week

What the hospital is looking for in a Registered General Nurse/RGN:
- NMC registered Adult General Nurse/RGN
- Ideally demonstrate some post-registration experience in a similar setting, although this is not essential and newly qualified MH Nurses will be considered
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
