Would you like to work as a nurse within the community?

You will be an autonomous practitioner able to make decisions when working in patients’ homes.

Ideally the successful candidate will have nursing experience. We are happy to recruit newly qualified nurses and they will be trained and supported to work in the community.

Applicants who do not possess RN level 1 in Adult General Nursing cannot be considered for these posts. You will find satisfaction in helping patients to manage their own health needs in the community and will be able to work alongside other health and social care professionals to ensure that patients in Enfield receive the best possible care.

As a community staff nurse you will be required to travel between patients’ homes and will need access to a car and a full UK Driving License. Provisional license holders will not be considered.
 

Staff Nurse - Registered Nurse (adult registration required):

We are looking to recruit highly motivated Staff Nurses to work within a friendly and high performing multi-disciplinary team. 

Candidates will need to be flexible to the needs of the DN service. The district nursing department runs rotational shift duties.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and to manage a workload within a busy environment. You will need to have experience of working in a care environment and demonstrate knowledge of the core principles of care.

Candidates will need to be flexible to the needs of the unit and have respect for the different values, cultures and beliefs of patients. You will assist in the facilitation of innovative and evidence-based nursing practice.

The DN service promotes quality care through evidence-based practice and a commitment to supportive learning. You will have opportunities to regularly undertake CPD activities, including in-service and external training.

Regular appraisals will be undertaken using the KSF structure. Informal visits are encouraged.
