Band 6 Care Coordinator

  • Salary - £34,961 - £42,010 pa including outer London HCAS
  • Location - North London (Barnet, Enfield, Haringey)

Are you an RMN, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist? Are you looking for a diverse workforce focused on staff development, patient care, and quality improvement?

We currently have opportunities for clinicians to work as Care Coordinators in our Mental Health Community Services to provide high quality patient centered care.

People access different parts of our service depending on their current mental health needs, with the service continuing to evolve to meet the changing needs of the local population.

You will be working with a diverse and rich cultural mix of people in an up and coming part of London. It is a fascinating part of the city with historical and cultural significance. It is home to communities where more than 200 different languages are spoken.

We asked staff working in our community teams to describe what it’s like working here:

Paulette works as a Community Mental Health Nurse: There’s a real caring spirit in the team and I love how this allows me to be a strong advocate for my clients.

Shirley works as a psychologist: I enjoy working in Haringey because it’s such a vibrant place. There are also real development opportunities within the community service.

Mark works as a Mental Health social worker: Haringey is one of the most eclectic boroughs in which to develop both clinical practice, as well as personal development. Diverse, challenging and fascinating in equal measures, working within the borough offers one of the best opportunities in both health and social care. Never boring, working and living in Haringey is one of the best experiences to date in my 7 year social work career.

Odalayo works as a Mental Health Nurse: The opportunity to work in specialized pathways has given me the opportunity for growth and learning new models of care.

You will be part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team comprised of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Mental Health Nurses and Social Workers, Employment Support Specialists, Dual Diagnosis workers and Discharge Intervention Workers. You will be responsible for the provision of client centered interventions and treatment under the Care Programme Approach.

If you are interested in this role and would like to be part of the BEH family, then we would love to hear from you.
