40 Hrs | Days | Large, Modern Nursing Home | Brand New Home

An experienced, RGN or RMN Nursing Home Manager is required to lead and develop an 80+ bedded nursing home in Dudley.

The soon-to-open home offers elderly and dementia care in beautiful, modern surroundings, with state-of-the-art facilities and design features to support the delivery of the best possible standards of care and living.

Details of this RGN/RMN Home Manager position and what the successful candidate will receive:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Day shifts only
  • A starting salary of £50,000 (equivalent to Band 8a/Band 8b), which will increase as you develop the home and increase occupancy
  • A strong regional management structure to support you in your role

As CQC Registered Nursing Home Manager, you will take responsibility for the clinical and operational management of the home.  This includes the effective management of staff, budgets and resources along with ensuring all clinical and medication records are accurately maintained and care is to a high standard.

You will also play a key role in promoting the home within the local area, building up occupancy and developing a strong team within the home.

The qualities, experience and skills our client require in a Nursing Home Manager RGN/RMN:

  • Qualified Adult Nurse/RGN or Mental Health Nurse/RMN
  • Current NMC registration
  • Demonstrate proven experience in the management of a UK nursing home, ideally with commissioning experience
  • Good understanding of CQC essential standards and quality requirements
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well organised, with good attention to detail and a passion for providing high quality care
