Night Shifts

Brook Court Care Home - Kiddermister

£18.36 per hour

Are you an organised, methodical Nurse who is passionate about delivering positive change? Then you can build a fast-moving nursing career with Care UK and help our residents get more out of life every day.

What you’ll do

Leading the care team during your shifts, you will make certain that we fully meet residents’ medical, physical and emotional requirements. Ensuring compliance with our clinical governance framework, you will mentor and motivate colleagues, champion residents’ safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement, whilst acting as Named Nurse for your own portfolio of service users.

Who you are

An NMC Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD), you will be well versed in care planning processes and fully familiar with clinical assessment tools. You will be keen to develop your leadership skills and clinical knowledge, capable of building close relationships with residents and their families, and determined to drive continuous improvement.

Who we are

With 120 homes and day clubs across the UK, we provide expert respite, residential, nursing, dementia and end-of-life care for older people. Our highly personal, patient-centred approach has seen us enjoy rapid growth, with three new homes planned for next year, so we can offer wide-ranging career opportunities to people who care as deeply as we do.

What we offer

As one of our valued nurses you can benefit from both clinical and management training, enabling you to become a clinical lead, senior trainer or home manager. You can also expect competitive pay of £18.00 per hour, a choice of day, night or weekend shifts and comprehensive benefits, a stakeholder pension and life assurance scheme, bank holiday enhancements, paid DBS check, child care vouchers, thousands of online and in-store discounts and free uniform.

At Brook Court care home in Kidderminster we believe in helping residents to continue living an active, enjoyable life.

Our experienced team here in Kidderminster works together to provide a full range of quality care for older people, from residential and short-term respite care through to care for people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

Independence is the key

Like all Care UK staff, our experienced and dedicated care teams at Brook Court take pride in delivering the very highest quality residential, dementia and nursing care. They get to know every resident – their likes, dislikes and life stories – and then create a personalised care plan that enables your loved one to maintain their independence and enjoy activities based on their lifelong hobbies and interests, or even to try something new.

The home itself has an impressive range of facilities, with a focus on providing residents with the luxurious lifestyle they deserve. On the ground floor you’ll find an in-house cinema, hair salon and contemporary coffee shop, with freshly baked cakes available every day. It’s a lovely setting to catch up with visitors, friends and loved ones, and there’s always something going on.

Throughout the home there are lovely spaces, from airy lounges to quiet sitting areas, where residents can join in activities, talk or simply read or relax. Visitors are also welcome to use these spaces at any time of day too as we recognise that spending time with friends and family is critical to the wellbeing of our residents.

Company

At Care UK, we treat everyone as individuals so they can live fulfilling, rewarding and happy lives and we recognise that taking the first step on the journey into care can be daunting.

We are proud to be the most awarded care home provider for the last three years, and we have more outstanding rated homes than any other provider. Independence is not about where you live, but how you live, so if you’re considering care for yourself or a loved one,  discover why we’ve been trusted to care for over 40 years.
