Barnet Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking to appoint a number of highly motivated & enthusiastic people to join an evolving and improving team. We are looking for hard working, motivated individuals, who can assist in moving the ward forward, improving practice and the quality of care provision to our service users and their carers.

We have posts for Band 5 Staff Nurses for a NEW PICU based at Chase Farm, Enfield.

As a Band 5 you will undertake responsibility for co-ordinating shifts, assessing patients and developing plans of care. You will work with colleagues in the multidisciplinary team to identify risks behaviours and appropriate interventions. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to enable effective communication to the multidisciplinary team and other agencies involved in care delivery. The successful candidates must display a considerable degree of initiative, possess mature judgment and maintain a calm, friendly and efficient manner when dealing with service users in the least restrictive manner .They must be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to engage service users. You will be able to remain calm under pressure and to keep the service users at the centre of care delivery. Also manage competing demands and organise their own work in meeting deadlines in order for the smooth running of the service.

You will have a genuine interest in quality improvement, the ability to influence the practice of others and improve the experience for our service users and their carers.
