Salary: £36,593.80 – £38,672.35 per annum (inclusive of unsociable allowance) Salary dependent on experience.

Hours: 44 per week (on roster basis)

There is the option to work 37.5 hours per week which has a salary of £27,280.50 to £29,120.39 per annum (plus unsocial supplements). Salary dependent on experience.

We want to make excellent care even better
We are looking to recruit Registered Nurses (either RGN or RMN), they provide residential, nursing, dementia and palliative care to nearly 200 older members of the community on this site.

As one of our Nurses you will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate a high standard of person centred care, with an holistic view of the individual needs of each resident. This will involve liaising with residents, relatives, our GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team on site.

You will be responsible for managing the unit in the absence of the Unit Manager, and will be in charge of the unit during your shifts, as well as having longer term supervisory responsibility for allocated junior members of staff.

You will also have the opportunity to undertake student mentorship or mentorship preparation studies as part of our active student placement program

Requirements:

• RGN or RMN qualified
• Current NMC pin number,
• 6 months experience of working with older people (ideally in a care home setting) and you will have the right to work in the UK.
• Knowledge and experience of working with dementia and palliative care client groups would be beneficial.
