Salary: Band 5/6 equivalent, dependent on qualification & experience

Hours: 35 hours per week

Term time only - with some additional hours / days to fulfil training requirements and consultation with residential provision

We are looking to appoint a full-time nurse for our specialist educational needs school, term time only plus additional agreed hours for out of school support. The role requires you to manage the HCA and medical department as part of the school’s wider clinical services. You should be prepared and able to deliver to student sessions/programmes associated with health care matters, such as healthy eating, mental health, wellbeing etc.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Clinical Services and be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day medical care of pupils.

The post holder will need to be an excellent communicator and be able to liaise with a number of internal and external agencies as part of the role.
