A 50+ bedded nursing home in Banbury currently has a vacancy for a Registered General Nurse to join their clinical team.

This is a family run nursing home providing personal, nursing and specialist care for elderly residents and younger adults, supporting those with dementia, physical disabilities and mental health conditions.

Details of this Registered General Nurse vacancy and what the successful candidate can expect to receive:

• 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis
• Day or night shifts available
• Shifts are 8am - 2pm, 2pm - 8.30pm and 8.30pm to 8.00am nights. There is also long days 8.00am to 8.30pm
• Industry leading pay rates of £17.00 to £19.00 per hour dependant on experience
• If you can take bloods, do catheterisations and verify deaths, the hourly rate can be £19.00 per hour
• Paid breaks
• Willing to pay for all visa costs for any potential candidates who require sponsorship, providing they are willing to sign an agreement to stay for 1 year
• Help with accommodation. Payment for a BnB for one week whilst helping to find you somewhere to live. If coming from abroad, they can help with deposit for a rented property by an interest free loan

As Registered General Nurse, you will manage and implement care for a caseload of residents in the home, ensuring care plans are up to date and meeting both resident needs and legal requirements.  You will also safely manage and administer drugs and medications, in addition to leading a team of HCAs on shift in the delivery of high-quality care.

What our client is looking for in a Registered General Nurse:

• Qualified Adult General Nurse/RGN
• Up to date NMC registration
• Post-registration experience is not essential and my client will accept applications from newly qualified nurses
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, proactive approach and committed to delivering the highest standards of care
