A leading private hospital in Kingston Upon Thames has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Phlebotomist to join their Outpatients Department.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly opened department and work in state-of-the-art facilities delivering exemplary standards of clinical care and support.

As Outpatients Phlebotomist, you will take blood samples from patients using vacuum tube, syringe or butterfly venepuncture methods.  You will support the effective and efficient delivery of outpatient services and will work as part of the Outpatient nursing team.

What the hospital is looking for in a Phlebotomist:

  • Have completed a Phlebotomy Certificate and educated to at least GCSE level
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 6 months experience working in phlebotomy and able to safely handle clinical materials
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in addition to good IT skills
  • Ideally experienced taking bloods from children/paediatric patients
