Pre-Assessment Nurse

Location: Plymouth

Salary: up to £27,000

Description: Our client is looking to recruit a pre-assessment nurse to work with all members of the team practicing and maintaining a high standard of clinical care. Participating in all activities of the department to improve the patients experience and ensuring safety of all users and staff. The client emphasizes that everyone makes a difference and the work that is done directly affects the patient’s experience.

Our client’s centres are patient focused offering a great patient care ratio working closely with local CCGs and NHS Trusts to reduce waiting times. Several of their Treatment Centres are rated Outstanding by CQC, with their unfaltering dedication to quality is something they are very proud of.

Our client’s shift patterns mean that weekends aren’t mandatory and they are done on a as and when basis due to the fact that they offer elective surgery so it is rare that you would be required to work beyond your expected hours. Generally working shift patterns between 8am – 6pm, these can vary however the shifts are 10-hour days. Our client tries to be flexible with the shifts patterns to accommodate for the needs of the staff, the right candidate will be flexible and happy to work different shifts.

Person Specification: Our client would require an RGN with relevant experience in an acute surgical setting, experience in a pre-assessment/outpatient setting would also be beneficial. The ideal candidate will have a good mentality and have the ability to work closely with the medical colleagues.
