Oak Hall Care Home in Haslemere is part of the award-winning Elizabeth Finn Homes Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the charity Turn2us. Oak Hall opened in November 2018 and we are now looking for additional experienced nurses to join our growing team. Our nurses offer medical care to our residents, including the specialised support required for chronic and terminal illness. We also provide post-operative care and rehabilitation.

Brief Job Description:

Key responsibilities:

- Assessment, planning and drug-administration:

Using the icare on-line care-planning and eMAR systems, ensure that residents have full nursing assessments, personalised care plans, taking into account their preferences while preserving their dignity at all times. Full training will be given.

- Holistic Care:

Our multi-disciplinary team includes a physiotherapist, chaplain and a social engagement team who all support the nursing and care staff in promoting the mental and physical activity of our residents.

- Professional Practice:   

Act in a professional manner at all times and exercise leadership by example; keeping professionally updated and aware of developments in nursing practice though formal and informal education, passing this knowledge onto other staff when appropriate.     

Experience: 

Essential:             Registered Nurse (Adult)

Desirable:            Care of older people; experience in working in a care home environment
