Following a successful bid for the Northamptonshire GP Out of Hours service, we are now looking to recruit an exceptional Clinical Service Lead to join our team.

The post holder will support the Managing Director, GP Lead and local operational team in the delivery of GP Out of Hours services by providing operational and professional clinical leadership to an integrated team, ensuring that processes are in place to support the achievement of organisational goals, a culture of patient safety and high standards of care delivery.

To be considered you must be able to demonstrate the following;

• Over 3 years’ experience as a Senior Clinical Manager managing large groups of clinical staff

• Over 5 years’ experience as Senior Nurse within an autonomous practice role

• Non-Medical Prescribing Qualification

• Excellent communication skills

• Evidence of Clinical Leadership

• Ability to asses and manage risk

• Excellent People management skills

• Previous experience of service delivery / management of healthcare services

• An excellent understanding of the service and the needs of service users

• An understanding of National Quality Standards and local commissioner’s requirements

• Awareness of external multidisciplinary agencies
