An opportunity has arisen for a new Business Intelligence Analyst within the Business Analytics department. As part of a small team, you will share in providing all aspects of data collection, data management, reporting, analysis and data validation requirements for DHU Health Care CIC and its subsidiary companies.

You will be an expert in the analysis of complex datasets. You will have the appropriate skills to design, develop, generate and maintain reports. You will demonstrate your attention to detail, check the accuracy of your reporting, and have a flare for deriving new insights and conclusions to help guide business decisions.

The Business Analytics department supports all areas of the organisation in understanding and preparing data and reports for presentation or use. You will be merging data from multiple sources, and providing key analysis and decision making information for clinical, financial and operational activities within the organisation.

 

Essential Skills

  • Microsoft TSQL
  • Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Microsoft Excel

Desirable Experience

  • Clinical systems such as Adastra and SystmOne
  • Experience in NHS primary care, out-of-hours or other associated healthcare data sets.
    • Financial Reporting such as Dynamics Navision
    • Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
    • Microsoft PowerBI
    • Telephony systems such as Mitel
    • Work Force Management / rota systems such as Injixo and/or RotaMaster

Interview process

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to our offices at Johnson Building, Locomotive Way, Pride Park, Derbyshire DE24 8PU, for interview. The interview will consist of:

  1. A 60-minute computer-based test, to assess your technical skills
  2. A 30-45 minute face-to-face interview

The whole test/interview process should take around two hours
