Nurse Specialist Gynaecology

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £40,000

Closing Date: Friday 24 May 2019

Circle Health is a company that runs hospitals and health services in the UK. We were founded in 2004, and we are different to most healthcare organisations we build independent hospitals which pioneered five-star hospitality in the UK, and we’re the only organisation running some innovative types of work in the NHS, like our Bedfordshire musculoskeletal contract.

The Nottingham NHS Treatment Centre is the largest day-case centre in Europe. It operates under a Standard Acute Contract, providing a wide range of outpatient, inpatient, diagnostic and therapeutic services. The hospital is rated as “five stars” from over 1,000 reviews on the NHS Choices website as of April 2018. Indeed, 99% of patients are “extremely likely” or “likely” to recommend our service to their friends and family.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team and work alongside our Gynaecology Consultants and Nurse Consultants. If you are a registered nurse with 5+ years extensive experience in an acute Gynaecology setting and looking to start your pathway to becoming a Specialist Gynaecology Nurse, or is already working as a Gynaecology Nurse Specialist we would like to hear from you.

Our Gynaecology gateway cares for women attending for general Gynaecology clinics, and Colposcopy treatment clinics. The gateway also performs outpatient procedures such as Hysteroscopy, Endometrial Ablation and Hysteroscopic Morcellation of Polyps. We have Two week wait cancer clinics in the following areas – General Gynaecology, Colposcopy and Post Menopausal Bleeding.

There are also a number of Nurse led clinics including a Bladder Pressure Studies clinic.

Ideally, you will have experience working in Colposcopy and already have accreditation with the BSCCP, worked in a Urodynamic setting, hold a Certificate in Urodynamics and be able to perform Bladder Pressure Studies and have experience in Gynaecology-Oncology.  A teaching qualification would also be an advantage.

You will be part of a busy gateway team providing high quality patient care.

Are you ready for a challenge then come and join our team.

Company

We help nurses and allied health professionals develop their careers in an exciting and encouraging environment.

Our hospitals and rehabilitation centres are high-tech facilities in purpose-built buildings, all built in the last decade or so. We’re passionate about providing the best patient experience, so we rethought how hospitals should work: our hospitals are much more peaceful and comfortable that people normally expect – patients say they feel like hotels.

We’ve always believed in creating a culture of partnership where each staff member is empowered and feels able to make a real difference, where the best management ideas from other sectors are added to best practice in healthcare, and where patients come first, above all else.

Circle Health is known for its innovation and culture. Because of these, our facilities attract some of the very best nurses and allied healthcare professionals. And we believe passionately in quality: all of Circle’s hospitals are rated “good” by the Care Quality Commission and our hospitals have, for example, never had a case of hospital-acquired MRSA.

So if you’d like to take then next step on your career, have a look at our roles on offer and take the opportunity to apply online.
