Description: Our client is a well-established care home group which operates more than 20 homes in the south of England. All of their homes are rated as ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ with CQC. They primarily focus on providing a care service for adult nursing, palliative, respite and dementia care. This role is based in a large dedicated dementia care home, rated ‘outstanding’ by CQC.

Our client is looking for a Senior Dementia Nurse (RMN/RGN) to join their team and work alongside the Admiral Nurse and care teams. They are looking for someone with experience of dementia settings with the confidence and responsibility for demonstrating best practice and ensuring this is updated and communicated through various supervisions with the nursing and care teams.

Working for this client is a fantastic opportunity for the right nurse. They allow the nurse the flexibility to show their passion and experience within the role and provide the opportunity for the nurse to share their passion with the team and provide a high quality of care. They encourage their staff to express their style of care to enable them to create a positive environment for residents, their families, visitors and staff.

Person Specification: Require a qualified nurse (RGN or RMN), with experience in dementia settings and ‘best practice’ dementia care coupled with a background in general nursing and clinical skills.  You will demonstrate significant experience in older people’s care and varying types of dementia. Previous team management or supervisory experience is a must.

Benefits: Pension scheme, annual pay review, paid breaks, staff recommendation scheme, reimbursement of annual professional subscriptions, including NMC registrations, fantastic homely environments, excellent induction, training and ‘on the job’ support
