0.71 WTE Band 6 – Nurse Specialist for Haematology
26.5 hours/week
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialist Team for a 12 month fixed term maternity cover starting in October 2019. We are seeking a motivated, dynamic, proactive nurse to join our team of specialist senior nurses. The team work collaboratively with the Haematology Consultant team to provide a robust pathway for patients diagnosed with a Haematological cancer.
The post holder will be required to work autonomously as well as part of the immediate and larger team. Experience of nursing patients receiving chemotherapy is desirable as is advanced nurse practitioner skills, as this post will be providing nurse-led clinics.
We are a dynamic, cohesive multidisciplinary team, with staff committed to the delivery of a high quality service. We are seeking a nurse who has a clear vision for Haematology services which meet patient and Trust needs ensuring clinical governance is a priority alongside patient safety.
To achieve these goals, the successful candidate will need to be highly motivated and having previous experience in Haematology. The post holder will also need to be innovative, enthusiastic, with a positive, flexible approach, possessing a good sense of humour.
