Job Summary

We are looking for a Pathways trained Clinician to join us at Care UK! As a Clinical Supervisor, you would providing line management to our current Clinical Advisors within the 111 call centre. This would include auditing, coaching, providing training and ensuring the rich development of your team and its efficiency. This would be a great opportunity for a current Clinical Advisor or for a qualified nurse or paramedic who is looking to develop their management skills. Key Responsibilities

The aim of the role is provide support, training & leadership of Clinical Advisors with the NHS 111 Call Centre environment. Responsibilities will involve being a positive role model by providing training and support to Clinical Advisors to use NHS Pathways software well and to meet Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Targets as well as enhancing their own professional development. You will participate in the investigation of complaints to ensure compliance and service improvement as well as undertaking one-to-one reviews of staff.

• State Registered General Nurse or State Registered Paramedic • Evidence of continued Personal development in Clinical Practice

Other duties The post holder will be required to undertake any other duties according to the needs of the service. The essential skills are to be a State Registered General Nurse or Paramedic with recent experience of acute patient care in areas such as A&E, Medical or Surgical assessment units or a similar environment. Would also suit an existing Clinical Advisor who is fully Pathways trained and who has a desire to progress and develop others. This role offers the opportunity to develop coaching skills and make a difference to the quality of service provided. You need to be able to communicate clearly, concisely accurately and effectively orally and in writing. You will need to be able to learn and use IT systems that deliver a quality healthcare service and audit performance. Additional skills include being able to achieve goals within a multi-disciplinary team through collaborative working with colleagues and other stakeholders.
