Are you looking to work in a mental health environment? Are you looking for your next step in Nursing where you can help patients in an Urgent Care Clinical Hub? If so, then we have the role for you.

What you will be doing

As a Mental Health Nurse Advisor you will be responsible for giving advice and support to Health and Clinical Advisors working in the Integrated Urgent Care Clinical Hub and manage calls from the Clinical Queue providing Mental Health advice to patients as and when it is required. You will need to use your clinical judgement and critical thinking skills to identify calls that may require further nurse assessment or referral to a GP, other primary care service or into secondary MH services at all times, and ensure that this is managed efficiently.

Skills and Experience

You will be required to hold an RMN qualification and registration with the NMC and show evidence of previous experience of working with patients and understanding the needs of patients with mental health difficulties. You will ideally be able to prioritise your work load and be able to deliver to agreed time scales and standards at all times. This is a permanent, part time position working up to 30 hours per week.

The job will be based at our Clinical Hub in Brierley Hill, Dudley.

The Mental Health advice service will be provided between the following hours: Monday to Friday - 14:30 to 22:30 Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays – 10:30 to 23:30

You will be expected to be available to work during periods of peak demand
