Like all of us at Nuffield Health, you do what you do because you care. Every one of our brilliant people is passionate about making a real difference. Our unique approach to connected healthcare means the difference can be truly transformative. Our network spans hospitals, Fitness and Wellbeing Clubs, and specialist services including physiotherapy - which means we can support lasting changes by taking great care of people in every way. And as Britain’s largest not for profit healthcare provider, we’d love to take good care of you too. Investing every penny in our services and people, we’ll bring out the specialist in you.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Ward Manager position at the Nuffield Oxford Manor Hospital. The ward is a bustling, highly busy, 62 bedded multi-speciality area spread over 2 floors of the hospital and is supported by a fully integrated and diverse multi-disciplinary team.

We are looking for a clinically credible, pro-active, team focused nursing leader with full NMC registration. The successful candidate will ideally already have Ward Manager experience and is looking to take the next step and expand their current skills in this fast paced, dynamic environment. In addition they will have a proven track record of leading nurses through periods of change, providing clinical & professional supervision, and ensuring quality and safety are maintained to the highest standards. The candidate we are looking for will be creative and innovative in their approach to delivering excellent care in line with budgetary expectations, strategic direction, and local & national best practice guidelines.

The Ward Manager is a key link for our internal and external customers and stakeholders, and should be a leader capable of generating and maintaining a trusted relationship with the ward team and the wider multi-disciplinary team.

We want you to be the best you can be. So we promise to support you with training, career development and our unique health and wellbeing focused benefits package. This includes free membership of your local Fitness and Wellbeing Club, private medical insurance, on-site physiotherapy services and an annual health assessment, as well as a range of other lifestyle and financial wellbeing benefits.
