Alice and the team at Tall Trees are looking for a registered nurse to join their already outstanding team. With 40 rooms, many of which overlook the beautiful landscaped gardens. Tall Trees has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and a close-knit community.

Who are you?

As an NMC Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD), you’ll be well versed in care planning processes and fully familiar with clinical assessment tools. You are driven and will be keen to develop your leadership skills as well as your nursing/clinical knowledge. A friendly and personable approach will mean that you are able to build close relationships not only with residents and their families, but also the team around you.

What you’ll be doing:

You will be responsible for leading, mentoring and motivating the care team during your shifts whilst also ensuring that the residents’ medical, physical and emotional requirements are exceeded. You will assess, develop, implement and evaluate care plans for the residents in accordance with our clinical governance framework. Ultimately you will champion residents’ safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement within the home.

Tall Trees is a modern, purpose-designed care home set in a quiet residential area close to the town centre of Colchester in Essex. We provide personalised nursing and respite care for older people, including individuals with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia, physical disabilities or learning disabilities. We also offer supportive and compassionate end of life care.
