What kind of nurse do you really want to be? A relationship builder. A quality carer. A healthcare pioneer. A valued specialist with continuous opportunities for training and professional growth. Join LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare as a qualified RGN and you can be all these things and more.

About the opportunity
Part of McKesson, a leading healthcare company, we work in close partnership with the NHS and pharmaceutical companies to provide a huge range of nursing services to more than 80,000 patients in the comfort of their own home, at their place of work, in the community or over the telephone. This role is based from our Derby office where you will be speaking to patients over the phone offering clinical advice. We also have paediatric patients and so part of the role will include providing advice to the parents or guardian. This role is all about providing professional, clinical advice and support to our patients over the phone but also includes liaising with pharma partners, hospitals, sales and commercial teams.

The focus is on clinical excellence, so we’ll give you all the support and flexibility you need to give quality advice to your patients and provide them with the best kind of care over the phone. We’ll also make sure you remain at the cutting edge of your profession, gaining exposure to new technologies and therapies, and helping to develop care models that break the mould. You will become an integral part of a wider nursing team, enjoying regular contact with managers and colleagues to ensure our patients receive the best possible quality of care.

About you
You have to be well-organised to succeed in this role, as you will be responsible for managing your own workload and itinerary as well as for providing patients with the advice and care that will help them achieve their goals and regain their independence. Practising as Nurse in an office environment over the telephone means that you are the type of person who thrives in this customer focused environment. You may be looking for a role which allows you to continue to practise as a Nurse but from the comfort of an office environment. For this role you must have a valid NMC PIN and at least 12 months’ post-registration experience, along with excellent communication skills, basic IT skills and a commitment to continuous professional development.

In return, we offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package, personal pension plan and a flexible schedule that does not involve any evening, late-night or weekend work.
