School Nurse – Oxford
30 hrs per week Band 6 – Term time only
Founded in 1863, our client is an independent, co-educational boarding school for pupils aged 13 to 18 (year 9 to year 13); there are presently approximately 700 pupils, of whom 85% are boarders. Their boy/girl split is 60:40 and overseas pupils make up 15% of their community. There are 13 boarding Houses, most of which house around 60 pupils from all year groups.
A vacancy has arisen for a dedicated part-time School Nurse working 30 hours a week (30 hours x 34 weeks). A suitably experienced candidate is required to be responsible for the provision of the healthcare needs and to assist with the pastoral care of the pupils. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic experienced and flexible individual. A competitive salary, £21,682 per annum (pro rata of £36,644 per annum) is on offer commensurate with this important term-time only role.
