Job Details

Do you have an analytical and curious mind?

Are you able to see patterns where others can’t?

Are you keen to use your skills to help support us to provide great care to our residents and patients?

Then Barchester Healthcare wants to hear from you.

With more than 200 care homes and six independent hospitals, Barchester is one of the UK’s leading care providers. Managing that many homes and hospitals means we handle large amounts of complex information, much of it vital for us to know where we can improve and the risks we need to avoid. To keep track and interpret that data, we need a skilled analyst to help us read between the lines.

If you can find hidden trends in information, pick out insights, and see risks coming – then you have the kind of skills we’re looking for. Supporting the Quality, Risk and Compliance Directorate with your analysis and reports, you’ll play a key role in charting our future.

If you’re passionate about delivering exceptional care for our residents and patients, and organised with strong interpersonal skills, you’ll be an excellent fit for our team.

Working here isn’t just something you can go home feeling good about. We are offering a salary of circa £32k, and a sector leading benefits package that includes:

• Free Learning & Development opportunities

• Holiday, Retail and Leisure discounts

• Unlimited access to the refer a friend scheme

• Joining the only care provider in the UK to be accredited as one of the best companies to work for in 2019

Ideally you are educated to degree level or equivalent. You’ll also need previous experience in an analytical role, able to juggle a number of work projects, good written communication skills, good IT skills including a working knowledge of Excel, and, ideally, an appreciation of a risk-based regulatory model.

Previous experience of working in a regulated organisation would be helpful but isn’t necessary, as would some knowledge of health or social care.  However, we are happy to hear from people working in other sectors too!

If you have the unique qualities required for this exciting role and want to work with an organisation that provides the type of care you’d expect for your loved ones, we would welcome your application.

Company

Quality care is at the heart of everything we do. Along with great colleagues, our residents, patients and their families, that’s what makes working at Barchester so rewarding – and we’re proud to deliver the compassionate and person-centred care you’d expect for your loved ones.
