Our client is set in two hundred acres of Surrey farmland, eight miles from Guildford on the edge of a large, thriving village. The school enjoys a country environment situated within an hour’s drive of London.  Founded in 1865 as a boys’ boarding school, the school is now co-educational and currently has around 1000 students aged between 7 and 18.

A vacancy exists for an experienced, dedicated and confident Registered General Nurse to join their existing team of school nurses who provide quality nursing care in our School Medical Centre.  Our new member will love working with children and is likely to have experience in a similar environment or have practice nurse skills and / A & E experience.

This post is full-time, working 37 hours per week (inclusive of 1 night) for 36 weeks a year, (which are term time), on a shift rota system which will involve anti-social hours, therefore you will need to be a car driver.  The working schedule gives the holder the freedom of not working during long school holidays. All meals and snacks whilst on duty (during term time) and membership of the school sports club are amongst our staff benefits.

This is a rewarding position for a compassionate, dedicated person, wishing to be an integral part of a caring medical department within a thriving school.
