Vacancies for Community Nurses have arisen across the North East London Foundation Trust localities within the following areas;

Basildon and Brentwood 

We are offering both part time and full time contracts working 22.5 to 37.5 hours per week.

Opportunities for further development are available including mentorship, consultation and Diagnostics, prescribing and Community Nurse Practitioner courses. Community nursing provides an excellent opportunity to learn new skills and prepare nurses for working in other specialist teams in the community setting. Applications from Student nurses are welcome and preceptorship is available.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated Adult Community Nurses to complement our skill mix within the Integrated Community Nursing teams. Teams provide holistic nursing care to patients, families/carers in their own homes (including residential care homes) and in nurse led clinics.

The roles encompass treatment, care, advice and teaching within the professional competence of the post holders and applicants need to demonstrate a commitment to the provision of high quality evidence based care.

The ideal candidate must be a registered nurse (Part 1) and will work as a member of the integrated community health care team, working within and across professional and organisational boundaries. Liaising with GPs, other professionals and statutory and voluntary agencies, he/she will deliver individualised care to patients under the supervision of the Senior Nurse
