Are you a Learning Disability Nurse, either newly qualified or experienced, who is looking for a diverse and interesting new role that combines first class patient care with opportunities for career development?
Forensic Inpatient Team
Our forensic service is at an exciting time as we have a new senior team in post with lots of experience and innovative plans for delivering excellent care. As a result of the expanding service, we have vacancies for Band 5 Staff Nurses and Band 6 Charge Nurses.
Community Teams
We are looking for a small cohort of Band 5 Community Nurses to join our three countywide teams and our intensive support team who provide care to adults with a diagnosis of learning disability and complex health presentations who find it hard to access mainstream primary and community services and need more specialised input and support.
We give individuals the support they need to continue a full and active life in the community and work closely with GPs, service users and carers, and other key partners to achieve this.
Oxford Health is at the forefront of Learning Disability and Autism care provision and has been commended nationally for its innovative practice. Our teams are highly skilled and passionate with a true desire to put our service users at the heart of everything they do.
We provide access to a wide range of development opportunities to reflect the needs of our services, including clinical and professional development, vocational qualifications and leadership and management development.
We offer a comprehensive two-year Preceptorship programme for newly qualified nurses, with taught modules, a dedicated mentor for your preceptorship, a full induction plus, opportunities to develop both your general and specialist skills.
