Our District Nursing Service is a team of caring and dedicated nurses with a wide range of skills and knowledge who work as part of a neighbourhood team providing seamless personalised care in people’s own homes or in the community. We provide care to patients in Oxfordshire who have very specific needs which can be met by the specialist skills of the district nursing team.
We have many opportunities within our team, whether you are looking for your first role as a newly qualified nurse, looking for promotion or a change of direction.
Newly Qualified Nurses
Oxford Health is a great place to start your career as a nurse, we have developed our Flyer Programme to support newly qualified nurses with dedicated support and mentoring. At its heart is preceptorship, with the addition of staff development; coaching and assessing; quality improvement, with level 7 accreditation over a two-year programme.
