As a County Wide Community Nurse you will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team including GPs, Practice Nurses and Specialist Nurses in order to support the service delivery having a high focus on quality outcomes and improving the patient experience.
As both an organisation and a service we are actively involved in both local and national innovative projects around improving quality of care and integrated working. We have an extensive program of training and skills development available and actively nominate and encourage our staff to apply for national awards, such as Queen’s Nursing Institute, RCN and Nursing Times awards. Motivated staff are encouraged to complete extended skills training such as the DNSPQ, Advanced Clinical Assessment Skills and Non-medical Prescribing (V300). The Trust also supports unqualified team members with appropriate experience to complete Nurse Associate training and for those who can demonstrate capability, Registered Nurse training.
