An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to undertake the role of Occupational Health Practice Nurse.

The main purpose of this role is to provide Well Persons health screening checks for officers and staff, undertaking routine medical checks and vaccinations, providing advice and guidance on healthy life styles and, where appropriate, referring officers and staff for further monitoring or investigation of potential medical conditions, enabling individuals to improve their levels of fitness and be proactive about their health care regime.

This is a challenging role that requires the successful candidate to organise and prioritise their own workload, therefore strong organisational skills are required, together with the ability to work under pressure in order to achieve deadlines.  Experience of setting up and undertaking a range of clinics is an advantage.

It is essential that the successful candidate is a Registered General Nurse, with post qualification experience in a screening role.
