Nurses

We are looking for qualified nurses to join our two residential services in the Cardiff area offering care support partnerships  with children and young people living with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and complex needs.  It’s about more than just accommodation and personal care, we take a bespoke person-centred approach. The young people we support have complex needs and that’s where your nursing skills come in. 

As a named nurse for the young people we support you’ll be putting together care plans and risk assessments and liaising with the multi-disciplinary team from the health authority who support that individual. You’ll be administering medications, carrying out other nursing procedures and providing psychological support. You’ll also be key to enabling the young people using our services to access the community by accompanying them on trips to the park, or bowling or whatever they want to do!  Your role will also entail training and educating support staff to deliver dedicated clinical tasks.

The clinical aspects of your role will include but not be limited to: medication administration, wound care, catheter care, gastrostomy care, tracheotomy and bowel care and other procedures that would ensure the health and well-being of our service users.

You’ll be either a qualified RGN, RNLD nurse or for the children’s services a qualified Children’s nurse, preferably with clinical experience, however if that’s what you are looking to develop that’s what we can offer you.
