Nursing Roles in the Community – Dartford, Gravesham, Swanley & Bexley
Clinical Nurse Specialist/Advanced Nurse Practitioner / Salary: £33,225.00 to £40,863.00 per annum / 37.5 hours per week
Developmental Clinical Nurse Specialist / Salary: £27,826.00 to £34,222.00 per annum / 37.5 hours per week
Staff Nurse / Salary: £23,304.00 to £27,015.00 per annum / 37.5 hours a week
Our client is a charity which has been offering the best care and support to families facing terminal illness in Kent for over 30 years. On average 83% of those under their care are able to die surrounded by their loved ones in a place of their choosing. They are the provider of all-encompassing hospice care for both adults and children living in Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley, West Kent and Bexley.
Do you have a background in palliative care especially Long term Conditions including Heart Failure, COPD, Dementia? Are you passionate about ensuring patients and their families receive the best possible care both for symptom control and psychological support? Do you want to support patients to die in their place of choice?
They currently have the following opportunities within the Adult Hospice at Home team: A Clinical Nurse Specialist/Advanced Nurse Practitioner and a Developmental post for Clinical Nurse Specialist (are you already working in the capacity of a Senior Staff Nurse? You will be supported in your development through a mentorship program within the team and expected to achieve competencies over a 12 month period). They are also seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated registered nurse to join their dedicated and friendly Hospice at Home Team. (Newly qualified registered nurses will be considered and will be fully supported in their new role).
They are looking for candidates who are passionate and understand the needs of those receiving palliative end of life care, with a working knowledge of evidence based practice, excellent communication skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with other health care professionals. You will work as part of their team providing palliative care and crisis support to patients and families in the community. Must have the ability to travel to various locations with our area
