Nurse or Paramedic Practitioner Job - Portsmouth

We are currently hiring for a level 6 Minor Illness and Injury Qualified Nurse or Paramedic Practitioner at our Urgent Treatment Centre in Portsmouth.

You’ll be joining Heather’s team at our modern, purpose built centre close to Fratton Park and within walking distance of the train station. Heather  is the newly appointed Lead Clinican with 26 years experience as a Senior Sister in Emergency Departments and within Primary Care. Heather is a manager who still loves getting stuck in on the “shop floor” and her vision is to build on the successes of the Urgent Treatment Centre to create a facility known for its excellence.  She’s looking for Nurse or Paramedic Practitioners with the same passion for quality care that she has to help her get there.

As we are a 7 day service we are looking for Nurse or Paramedic Practitioners who can work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends and our shifts range from 7.5 hours – 12.5 hours but we understand the need for flexible working and are open to discussing hours that suit you.

In return for your hard work we can offer you a competitive salary starting at around  £37,274 per annum dependent on experience with incremental increases upon completion of competencies and further qualifications,  25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a contributory pension scheme, 10 days paid sick leave per annum as well as other benefits including cycle to work scheme and retail discounts.
