As Senior Lecturer Children and Young Peoples Nursing you will be expected to meet the BU 2025 fusion agenda of Research, Education and Professional practice. You will be committed to a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement. You must be registered on the Nursing and Midwifery Council Register (RN - Children) and have relevant teaching qualification.

You will be expected to demonstrate current knowledge in Children and Young Peoples Nursing and actively contribute to the leadership of the CYP programme and teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in order to enhance the student experience and implement educational development and innovation.

You will be qualified to Doctoral level or be able to demonstrate the ability to create and disseminate knowledge at an equivalent level and the capability to convert this knowledge into a doctorate in a maximum of 3-5 years from date of appointment. You will be research active and committed to a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement.
