Job Details

Would you love to work somewhere offering great career development and where you can achieve a great work-life balance?

At Noble’s Hospital, you can find what you’re looking for! We're looking for both full-time and part-time Registered Children's Nurses to join our team.

You’ll be able to develop your experience and skills in a supportive and friendly environment, as we care for children and young people with a range of Medical, Surgical, Orthopaedic, Dental & CAMHS conditions.

What will a career with us offer you?

Here you can step away from NHS pressures and demands, as our NHS is separate to the UK, but still free at the point of contact.

You can take advantage of the excellent opportunities we provide for personal and professional development. This includes use of the well-resourced on-site education and training centre and the fantastic range of fully funded courses we support, such as Masters Degrees, non-medical prescribing and urgent care practitioner courses.

Other fantastic development opportunities you could enjoy include: training to be part of our Air Ambulance Inflight nursing team and link practitioner roles.

If you are newly qualified you’ll benefit from guidance, support and study opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge base in the care of children and young people, with a range of conditions.

You can hear it from the team, check out the video to see what a nursing career on the Children’s Ward could offer you: https://youtu.be/rp883Bsb6bo

You’ll also receive a competitive salary with incremental pay progression and excellent holiday entitlement. To find out about the other benefits you could enjoy, download our benefits leaflet available from the advert on our website!

What about the island and relocating?

The island is a great place to live and work, so you’d enjoy a relaxed way of life and plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. If you like walking, mountain biking, sailing or kayaking, you’ll have lots of places to explore! There are also lots of great cafes, bars and restaurants.

You’ll also keep more of your hard earned salary, as the Isle of Man is offering a National Insurance Holiday Scheme; this allows relocated or returning residents to apply for a refund on National Insurance contributions for their first year of living or returning to the Isle of Man.

If you’re relocating, you’ll want this to be as easy as possible, so we offer interview expenses and a relocation package of up to £7,000, alongside subsidised accommodation and housing assistance. You can find out more about this support in the relocation leaflet.

You can find out more about the Island by visiting www.locate.im or by downloading our All about the Isle of Man leaflet available via the advert on our website.

How can I find out more and apply?

You can contact Gill Abbott, Senior Nurse Children’s’ Services on 01624 650328 or Gill.Abbott@gov.im. Download the Job Profile to hear more about what your responsibilities would be and the skills and experience required for success.

An enhanced police check with baring will be required for this post and this will be paid for by the DHSC. Applications for this post will be accepted up to midnight of the closing date.

Flexible Working
