Description: Our client is an acute hospital trust dedicated to providing the best possible care, serving a population of around 320,000 people. With some big changes underway, it’s an exciting time to join them and make a real difference.Currently under development is an exceptional project that will see a Hyper-Acute Stroke Unit (HASU) being built for Autumn. The Unit will comprise of 10 beds in order to provide holistic, round-the-clock care for acute stroke patients using a multi-disciplinary approach.
This specialist stroke team made up of consultants, nurses and therapists, won the Carlisle Living’s 2017 Team of the Year Award for their exceptional care!Working as a registered staff nurse for our client offers the opportunity to be part of a growing, vibrant team, on a brand new specialised unit in an area of outstanding natural beauty, adjacent to the Lake District UNESCO World Heritage Site.Person Specification: The right candidate will be a registered nurse with an active registration to the NMC. Essential is experience in dementia nursing and desirable is experience with stroke patients. As a newly qualified nurse (preceptorship) or a nurse from a nursing home background, this is an excellent opportunity to join an exceptional multi-disciplinary team in a state-of-the-art NHS ward based environment to really develop your nursing experience and grow your career!
