ICU has an exciting opportunity for the right candidate. We are looking for a registered nurse with 2 years post registration experience in the acute hospital setting who has the drive and passion to undertake a role within our department. We can offer a supportive induction period, regular training and the opportunity to undertake additional courses such as flight transfers, ALS and APLS. As an island hospital we also take paediatric patients and train staff to a standard expected to care for these patients with support from other departments. Affiliation with Chester University enables us to be able to support staff for both BSc and MSc courses on island.
Our people are so important so with support from day one, you’ll have everything you need to make the move and start changing the lives of others, and your own. We’ll provide you with a generous relocation package (£8,000), as well as continual training and development opportunities and the freedom to really rediscover why you love what you do, and who you are.
As recent winners of the “Ambassadors of Wellness” awards- our staff are leaders in maintaining a good work/ life balance which is imperative to maintaining a healthy workplace – why not come and join us?

Company
Covering an area of 45 square miles and with a resident population just over 100,000, Jersey is the largest and most southerly of the Channel Islands. And our Health and Social Services aim to improve the health and wellbeing of Islanders through the delivery of high quality, person focused health and social care.
To meet these goals, our staff are working with our voluntary, community and independent sector partners, including those in Primary Care, to continue to transform and develop services in line with our vision as described in ‘A New Way Forward for Health and Social Care’.
Following a period of service redesign and significant investment, we now need experienced and motivated people to help us realise our collective ambition and play an active part in delivering within our community mental health teams.
Jersey is an island community built on care and it’s why we look out for, and after one another so well. This is your chance to make the move, start a new adventure and rediscover why you love what you do, and who you are. This is care rediscovered.
