About the Role

An opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic team on Ward 11 and 12 as a Registered Nurse. We are looking for candidates who are:

  • Committed to delivering high standards of quality care to patients
  • Enthusiastic and motivated to develop into a competent orthopaedic nurse
  • Motivated to participate in practice development
  • Keen to be involved in the positive learning culture facilitated throughout our Care Group
  • Adaptable to change
  • Able to work in a busy environment within multidisciplinary teams

As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will have responsibility for the nursing assessment of patient care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. 

In the absence of the Sister/Charge Nurse or Deputy, you will have responsibility for effectively and efficiently managing the resources available to care for patients on the shift. 

A uniform will be provided. Full preceptorship with competencies will be given.
 

Please note an enhanced with barring police check will be required for this post, which the Department will cover the cost of for you.

A relocation package and interview expenses are not available for this post.
