£33,737 - £40,322 pa (Lecturer) or £40,322 – £51,034 pa (Senior Lecturer) both dependent on skills and experience
FTE (working 37 hours per week (part time and job share will be considered for both posts)
We are looking for a Lecturer and a Senior Lecturer to support our growing programmes that are newly validated for student nurses (BSc & MSc), student nursing associates and aspiring advanced clinical practitioners. You will be joining a dynamic and innovative team to enhance the clinical skills teaching of our students. We have invested in simulation labs and equipment and have developed expertise in this field of education. We have been highly commended for our engagement with practice partners and service users and we welcome applications from nurses who wish to join this forward-looking team.
The role is to support students to develop clinical skills in accordance with the NMC Standards (2018) and advanced assessment skills for continuing professional development courses. You will teach and assess theory, knowledge and practical clinical skills among a range of pre and post-registration students.
You will have proven experience in supporting clinical skills and experience in physical assessment, examination and history taking (in any clinical area) and have experience of teaching these skills to others. For appointment at Senior Lecturer level, you will also have proven experience as an ANP or other role involving advanced practice.
As a minimum, you will hold an Honours degree (2:2 or above) and be a registered Nurse with current NMC registration. A Masters or higher is essential for the Senior Lecturer post.
