Staff Nurse – Day Services
Salary: £42,045 – £44,593 per year
Day Services work over a variety of social care settings, offering a range of leisure and social opportunities to a variety of client groups; this includes learning disabilities, autism, dementia care and older adults. The core role and function of Day Services is to provide appropriate support that enables people to access meaningful opportunities within their own communities, such as, leisure, social, sports and volunteering activities. The service also provides outreach support to people living in their own homes, or with families, to promote and enable independent living. Service delivery is based upon the principles of person centred care.
We are currently seeking to recruit a RNLD/RGN to our team, to support a group of clients who require nursing care when attending Day Services. The post holder will be responsible for meeting the health care needs of complex clients, through effective, planning, delivery and evaluation of care. The role will also require active participation in the training and development of staff to meet appropriate standards in relation to clinical tasks. The hours of work will predominantly be Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4pm, with some occasional weekend work. Job share or part time hours will also be considered.
