We are actively recruiting for a talented and experienced Nurse Associates, to be part of the Princess Grace Hospital, Nursing Team and join our new journey in delivering excellence. This is a newly created position and ward due to the reconfiguration of our services.

Title: Nurse Associate

  • Princess Grace Hospital, London Medical District 
  • Working Pattern: Early, Lates and Nights, will include some weekends, this is flexible rota and part time requests are also welcomed
  • Permanent Contract 37.4 hours per week
  • Salary, C£28000pa
  • Shift Allowance – An additional 9% enhancement for out of hours

Summary of Role

  • Work on a 26-bed private patient exclusive first-class facility, allocated for Breast, Gynae, Colorectal and Urology, with a low patient to nurse ratio numbers, you will have the time to care for patients. You will be supporting nurses to deliver quality improvement and exceptional care, providing the outstanding patient experience.
  • Having a strong network around you, you will be able to meet the needs of the patients and their families and build stringent client relationships with private practice Medical Consultants.
  • You will perform and record clinical observations including blood pressure, temperature, respirations, pulse, oxygen saturation levels. Undertaking clinical skills of cannulation, venepuncture and ECGs and demonstrating cultural sensitivity and confidentiality.
  • You will be able to use your Nursing Associate skills to the full within a supportive environment, providing support to registered nurses, giving hands-on care to patients and using the clinical systems to organise and documents your care.

Successful candidates will be

  • A NMC registered Nursing Associate
  • Post qualification experience, ideally with women’s health ward experience, surgical or medical, but not essential.
  • Demonstrate experience of caring for patients
  • Passionate about Women's Health Services, able to consistently strive for and implement clinical excellence, a role model, focused on high-end customer service to private patients, with complex surgical and some medical needs.
